This year we decided to do things differently. Last November, our Muskoka flagship store traded pre-loved clothing donations for Black Friday deals on our customers’ Wolfe Co. Apparel purchases. Give To Get Black Friday was a month-long conscious effort towards a more sustainable planet and helping Muskoka Women’s Shelter and the Table Soup Kitchen Foundation.

Before you leave home, consider donating fresh, frozen and non-perishable food from your fridge to the Table Soup Kitchen Foundation.

Get Hands On With Our Flagship Store’s Mitten Tree

Figuring out what to wear when spending a day out in Muskoka is simple but requires many layers in order to keep warm and toasty for long periods of time. Temperatures around here can get down as low as -5°C to -20°C (or an average daily high temperature below 34°F).

After a day out exploring the majestic scenery the town has to offer, head to Downtown Huntsville and visit Wolfe Co. Apparel’s flagship store on 38 Main St E for premium Canadian-made clothing. While there, take a peek at our Mitten Tree.

Since November, we have asked our customers to bring in mittens as donations or purchase mitts in store to hang on the tree. All mitts will be donated to the Muskoka Women’s Shelter for women and children in need this winter.

The Santa Claus Parade, presented by The Huntsville/Lake of Bays Rotary Club is another popular gathering among Muskoka residents. It typically runs in November during the evening, allowing spectators to enjoy a magical, illuminated parade.
